Last night I finally took my husband out to eat for his birthday. The food was delicious, but why do restaurants have to serve so much food?
Sometimes Most of the time I feel like I have to eat as much as I possibly can when I go out to eat, and I go home feeling miserably full. Also, when I go out to eat I don't exactly make the healthiest choices. I want to enjoy myself and my food, but I can take the lessons I've learned so far with my blog and apply them to my going out experience, and still have a delicious meal.
It looked like I hadn't eaten that much on my plate, but I didn't leave there feeling guilty or overly stuffed, and I ended up taking home some good leftovers that will last me for the next month. Ok so I exaggerate a bit, but I do have some food that will last me the next couple of days at least.
Going out to eat is a special treat, but I need to remember that the changes I've made in my life can apply to situations like this. Going out doesn't have to mean I throw everything I've learned out the window.
