Day 117- Send Out Christmas Cards

Each year my husband and I always say we're going to send out Christmas cards, but never do. We usually end up getting really busy, and before you know it Christmas has arrived, and then it's too late.

I didn't want to make that same mistake this year. So, today I went and got all of my cards. After a lot of work I finally finished getting them all filled out, and they are now sitting on my counter ready to be mailed out tomorrow. It feels like a huge accomplishment for me to get this task done. I always like receiving my Christmas cards in the mail, and I like sending them out to all the people that are a part of my life.

After I finished going through my address book, I did realize I do still have more cards to give out. The ones I finished today were the cards to be sent out in the mail. I figure I'll get another batch of cards and give those out to people I see on a regular basis.

I feel as though I have been more involved with all the different holiday traditions this year. I have always dreaded this time of year, because I always felt as though there was too much to do, and I could never relax and get with the spirit of the holidays, but this year as I get more involved I am definitely feeling the spirit, and am feeling more relaxed.
