Day 6- Journal

"Writing, expressing can heal us. It can focus, support, and enhance our lives and well-being. Whether we laugh or we cry, whether through sorrow or joy, we can understand more about ourselves, and each other, through keeping a journal, diary, or diaries.”
- Doreene Clement
Today I have decided that my task for the day will be to write in a journal. I have written in a journal in the past, and I have found it to be very therapeutic.

First of all there are many types of journals and ways in which to keep a journal. Some people keep a journal so they can write about their details or events from the day. While others keep a journal to write about their dreams or goals. A journal can also be used to keep track of specific items (recipes, to do lists, workout schedules, etc.) or you can keep a journal to keep track of your emotions or feelings. Keeping track of my emotions and feelings is my main goal of writing a journal. Although, some of the other ways for writing a journal may sneak in there too.

I have found that writing in a journal can be beneficial to your health. It can help to reduce stress, and bring about personal growth. Instead of keeping all your emotions and your problems inside of you, you're expressing yourself through your journal and letting go of some of that anxiety, and maybe even bringing some clarity and focus to your words and solving some of these problems and issues you may have.
