My husband is really good at saving money. Me on the other hand, not so much. So I have decided to start a little savings account for myself. I actually already have one, but it only has around $6 in it. I'm just building on it a little bit.
My husband already has an emergency fund set up for us, so this is just for my use. It's a good idea to have this for times when my car may fall apart, or I have a sick cat that needs to go to the vet or for any other unforeseen circumstance.
I figure that with every paycheck I will take a very small portion out and put it in my savings account. My goal is to increase the amount I put in over time until hopefully I eventually reach my goal.
