I am one of those people that supports many causes, but rarely participates to help these causes. I guess you could say I'm a passive supporter of many causes.
Today I did my part and actively participated in the 'March for Life' in Washington DC. I was a little apprehensive about going, because I suffer from an extreme case of motion sickness, and I actually develop a little bit of anxiety when I have to travel in a bus, but I slept the whole way up there, and I only felt a little sick. So it all worked out in the end.
It was amazing to see all those people there. We were at the front of the pack, and when we were walking back down to our bus there were still tons of people packed on the street marching up Capitol Hill. It was an awesome sight to see, and I'm glad I got to experience this.
I hope in the future I can continue to play an active role in all of the causes I support.
