I am full of grace, therefore I am graceful.
~Peggy WhitingToday I thought I'd begin giving myself positive affirmations. I need to have a positive thought and remind myself of this throughout the day. Instead of sticking with many different positive statements, I thought I'd stick with one idea and go with it throughout the entire day.
I could always search online to find positive daily affirmations that other people wrote, but it's more more personal if I make them up myself. So as you can see from above, today I picked "I am full of grace, therefore I am graceful". It is also best to think of ideas using statements like 'I am' rather than 'I will' or 'I want to". That's why I call them positive affirmations.
The whole idea is to be more positive, and to not give myself a life sentence with my negative thinking. Rather than saying I want to be more graceful and not be such a klutz, I am putting a positive spin on it, and telling myself "I am full of grace, therefore I am graceful!" I want to change my thinking, and hopefully this will help. I tend to be very negative at times, so I think this will help give me a more positive outlook on life.
