Day 173- Show my Spirit with a Splendidly, Suberb Super Bowl Sunday in Sconnie

Today I thought I'd spend my time showing my true Wisconsin spirit, by immersing myself into the celebration of Super Bowl Sunday. I began the day with spending a couple of hours making snacks and food for the big game, and of course wearing my Packer garb.

Nobody knows what true football is, unless you're a Packer fan. There is nothing like going to the store and seeing people dressed in their green and gold. We live for football in Wisconsin. What other state can make being a Cheesehead, which was originally supposed to be an insult, and make it into our pride and joy. There is nothing like it.

We are Packer fans through thick and thin. We don't become a fan just because we're winning. We are fans our whole lives. We are fans whether they are winning or losing. We will fill that stadium even when they're losing. The Packers are owned by 112,000 people, and that's the way it should be. We have a history unlike any other team in the NFL.

Nothing brings people together like The Packers. I am sitting here enjoying this game with my mom and dad, and I couldn't be happier to spend time with two people that play such an important role in my life. Showing my spirit is a definite increase to my happiness meter.
