I happened to be out of town for my husbands birthday and today was the first chance we had to have a mini birthday celebration. So today I went out and bought him a card and a cake. I still owe him a dinner and his birthday present, which is why I called it a mini celebration.
I noticed when I was getting his birthday card today I couldn't find anything that truly expressed my feelings. I always seem to find cards that spark my interest when I'm not really looking for anyone in particular.
I also have the problem of scrambling for a card at the last minute. So today after getting my husband his birthday card I thought that I'd begin to stock up on greeting cards and be prepared for all occasions.
Now I didn't go out and get a million greeting cards all at once. I just figured I'd grab a card or two whenever I'm at the store and place them in this small portable file cabinet I have.
It's all about organization and making my life easier. This is sure to help out, and will also leave me feeling a little less guilty for not getting a card for someone for a specific occasion.
