Day 198- Stop Using Anti-Bacterial Soap and Hand Sanitizers

This may seem like an odd task, but there really is some reasoning behind it. There are actually a couple of reasons I'm doing this.

One reason is I have sensitive skin and have a hard time using certain products, and both of these items can be harsh on your skin, because of the chemicals used in these products.

Also, they are almost too good at getting rid of bacteria, because it gets rid of the good bacteria that is needed by the body to fight off illnesses. Some hand sanitizers actually contain high levels of disease- causing bacteria too. They're also really not that effective at killing the bacteria for those common illnesses anyway.

So I will now use unscented Dove as my regular soap. This will also apply for dishwashing soap too. I will no longer keep any anti-bacterial products in my home.
