Day 207- I'm Going Bananas!

I suffer from leg cramps, and I know the most likely culprit is the fact that I don't get enough potassium in my diet.

So, I thought I'd switch it up a little, and try to eat more foods that are rich in potassium such as bananas. There are other foods that are rich in potassium that can also help such as apricots, avocados, beets, brussel sprouts, cantaloupe, dates, figs, kiwi, lima beans, honey dew melon, fat free or skim milk, nectarines, oranges, orange juice, pears, peanuts, potatoes (not going to happen. Remember I'm cutting down on those bad carbs), prune juice, prunes, raisons, cooked spinach, tomato products, winter squash, and yogurt. Whew! That's a long list.

Bananas seem to be the easiest, and as far as taste goes that's probably the one I like the best, so my goal is to include more bananas in my diet or maybe something from the list I mentioned above if I'm desperate.
