This is part three of my shopping experience. I have a birthday coming up in a few weeks, and I thought why not give myself something special for my birthday; that was the original reason for going shopping.
I know it's a few weeks before my birthday, but I wanted to do my shopping now. My birthday falls a few days after Easter, and I wanted to have a some items I could wear for Holy Week; so this worked out perfectly for me.
I realize it doesn't have to be my birthday in order for me to buy myself something. I don't think I really have to have a reason to get myself anything. I just need to make sure I don't go overboard. I had a budget for my shopping and I stuck with it.
